Why should I have an attorney represent me in my personal injury case?
If you have suffered a personal injury, you need an attorney to represent you in your fight to recover the compensation to which you are entitled. An attorney will know the law and how it applies to your case and will be able to help you support your case and obtain the maximum amount for your injuries.
How much will it cost for Yaron Injury Law to represent me?
The law firm only recovers if we are able to secure compensation for you. Your initial consultation with an attorney from our firm is free. If you agree to retain our firm, we are only paid if and when you are. In other words, you do not pay us anything upfront, and when your settlement proceeds (or the amount awarded at trial) are received, we keep an agreed-upon percentage. This is called a contingency fee, and it is very beneficial as it prevents you from having to come up with any money upfront for our services.
How much is my case worth?
The value of your personal injury case will depend on various factors, and your personal injury attorney can go over the facts of your particular case with you and explain how much you can expect to recover. Some of the factors that will be considered include:
- The extent of your injuries
- Your ability to work
- Whether or not you will make a complete recovery
- Whether or not you are entitled to punitive damages
How long will it take to receive money for my claim?
This is a question that is not easy to answer. It all depends on whether or not your claim is settled or goes to trial. If your case is settled, receiving the check will take a few weeks after the settlement agreement is signed. At Yaron Injury Law, we ensure that our clients are kept up to speed on the status of their cases and when they can expect to receive the proceeds from the settlement.
Will my case go to trial?
The majority of personal injury cases do not go to trial. Instead, the parties agree to a settlement. Whether or not your case should be settled or proceed to trial is a matter your attorney will discuss with you. If a trial is in your best interest, you can be assured that the experienced counsel at Yaron Injury Law knows their way around a courtroom and will provide you with the advocacy that best supports a positive outcome for you.
